Life in Stitches
You can find articles about inspiration & ideas for embroidery, experiments, and sometimes mishaps. The Journal is a constant work in progress with sneak peeks into my world and the creative (sometimes chaotic) projects happening in The Studio.
Playing with Gold
I have been making time for more creative stitching. I know it seems a little crazy, but to take time out and relax from my stitch business, I stitch. Go figure…?
I finished Before Dawn
Join Anna Scott's creative journey as she puts the final touched to her piece of creative embroidery ‘BEFORE DAWN’ and learn how she creates texture and sparkle using knots and metal threads.
Chip, chip...
Chipping is a goldworking technique in which you cut purl or bullion wire into tiny pieces, each roughly as long as the thread is wide.
Goldwork progress
Laid work. I really like it - slowly and methodically covering a shape with neat rows of metal thread.
