Shisha Mirror Embroidery - Needle Book Kit
The embroidery kit includes all materials needed to complete the needlebook.
The Needlebook measures 11cm (4 3/8”) square.
Shisha, or mirror work, is a style of embroidery in which fine, little mirrors are attached to fabric by a border of stitches.
Dew Drop Daisy is a pretty and practical needlebook, perfect for keeping your needles organised. The front and back are decorated with shisha mirrors and simple embroidery stitches.
The front cover features three large daisies and a floral border. Fine, little shisha mirrors are used to create the shiny highlights in the centre of the large daisies and around the border. The back of the needlebook has a single daisy in the middle and a simple border. The needlebook is made from pale sage-green linen-cotton fabric and lined with a pretty floral print cotton that matches the embroidery threads . The embroidery is stitched using perlé cotton in soft shades of pink, yellow, cream and light blue-grey and pink and sage-green wool felt is used for the needle pages.
The pattern could easily be adapted to make a small zipped pouch

Crewel work embroidery kit
The embroidery kit includes everything you need to complete the design.
The embroidery design measures 33cm (13”) square.
Thistle & Rose features a symetrical bouquet of thistles, roses and clover flowers. It is embroidered in shades of dusky pink, soft greens and blue-grey as a backdrop for vibrant blue thistle flowers. Accents of sparkly, metallic silver thread add highlights to the design.
The shape and size of the panel is perfect for a square pillow, which is what I did with mine. It would look equally stunning framed or make a fabulous large work bag.

The design for Thistle & Rose is strongly inspired by the work of May Morris, the daughter of William Morris, who’s work I greatly admire. I can always find inspiration in the swirling, organic shapes and patterns used by May Morris both in her textile and embroidery designs. Thistle & Rose is particularly inspired by one of the first embroideries I fell in love with titled 'Vase' by May Morris.
Goldwork Embroidery Kit
The embroidery design 9.5cm (3 3/4”) in diameter.
The golden Marguerite is embroidered onto watermelon-pink silk with metallic and silk threads. The front of the pinwheel features a stylized marguerite daisy on a curly stem with decorative scalloped edge leaves. The stem and a single leaf are repeated on the back, leaving room in the centre to add your initials.
The project can easily be made into a beautiful ornament simply by adding a hanging loop.
The embroidery kit includes detailed instructions and everything you need for the embroidery and to make the pinwheel.
You have option to transfer the design yourself using the full-size pattern in the Standard Kit or a Traced Kit where I will trace the design onto the silk for you.
