Very, very Berry is perfect as an introduction if you are new to crewel embroidery or are looking for a small, sweet project to try.

Traditional Jacobean crewel work is a feast of exotic flowers and fanciful foliage - which is what I really love. The Very, Very Berry bird was largely inspired by a gorgeous cherry print piece of cotton I have had in my stash for years.
