PDF Download - Hemstitch Pincushion

$15.00
The pincushion measures 12cm (4 3/4 ”) square.

** NOVICE - This project is perfect if you are you are new to counted whitework embroidery.

Hemstitch is one of the fundamental stitches used in drawn thread embroidery. As well as being used to create
decorative borders within a pattern the stitch, as the name implies, is commonly used to secure a hem.
In drawn thread embroidery, threads are carefully drawn out of the fabric weave, then patterns and borders are
embroidered by placing stitches around the remaining threads for form decorative borders.
This little sampler is the perfect size and can easily be made into a simple pincushion or scented sachet.

PATTERN INCLUDES:
* Detailed step-by-step instructions
* Colour diagrams and close-up photographs.

YOU WILL NEED
* 20cm (8”) square of antique white 32-count linen
